Halo Book Review

*Calms* Ok, that is not an understatement by any means, this book is one of my favourite books ever. Its so beautifully written, both in words and by plot. The characters Bethany, Gabriel and Ivy are by far the most beautiful characters I have ever read about and the most interesting. The Three angels are sent to Earth in human form to rid the small town from the forces of evil after many bad things start to and have happened there, Bethany had no idea she would fall in love with the human boy Xavier, everything seems to be going perfect for their forbidden love affair, until an evil force returns yet again to the town the angels are so desperately trying to change.

I am very much looking forward to reading her first series from Australia as well as the second in the trilogy Hades (2011) *makes grabby hands* as I know for definite that the next one will be un-put-downable like Halo.

Fallen Book Review

Fallen - Lauren Kate

From Amazon.co.uk
What if the person you were meant to be with could never be yours?
17-year-old Lucinda falls in love with a gorgeous, intelligent boy, Daniel, at her new school, the grim, foreboding Sword & Cross . . . only to find out that Daniel is a fallen angel, and that they have spent lifetimes finding and losing one another as good & evil forces plot to keep them apart.

Have to thank my house mate for this riveting yet horrifying read, I was unsure of the book at first as it takes a while to get into, but when you are reading this book its impossible to put down. it has so many twists and turns, and from the little information you get from the characters drives you insane, so that's why its so hard to put down, plus with everything that happens your always readying yourself for the next big thing. It has its horrific moments and is a very sad book to read, but ever optimistic I am quite looking forward to reading its sequel Torment.
